FISHING ADDICTION MEMBERSHIP POLICY

MEMBER DISCOUNTS

As part of your Fishing Addiction membership, you receive exclusive access to our member discount dashboard and the following benefits:

  • 25% off all products on the Fishing Addiction online store, excluding gift cards and memberships. This discount is applied automatically at checkout while you are an active member and logged into your account.

  • $20 Welcome Discount – your discount code is included in your member pack and must be entered manually at checkout.

  • 15% off full-price products at Addict Tackle, both in-store and online. This discount does not apply to sale items or products that are already discounted. Some exclusions may apply. Please refer to the FA Member Product Collection online for eligible products.

MEMBER REFUND POLICY – ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee for the first month of an annual subscription, subject to the conditions below.

If your member pack has not been sent

If your member pack has not yet been dispatched, we will provide a full refund upon your eligible cancellation request.

If your member pack has already been sent

If your member pack has already been dispatched to your nominated address:

  • The member pack must be returned to Fishing Addiction HQ in its original condition within 30 days of the purchase or renewal date.

  • The cost of returning the member pack is the customer's responsibility.

  • Any shipping, postage or delivery charges associated with the member pack that has already been sent are non-refundable and will not be included in the membership refund.

To request a cancellation and refund, contact us at admin@fishingaddiction.com.au or call 0478 371 000.

The first-month money-back guarantee can only be used once per customer. Future subscriptions or renewals do not qualify for this guarantee, except where a refund is required by law.

Eligible refund requests will be actioned as soon as possible and processed by us within 3 working days. Please note that Stripe refunds may take up to 5 additional working days to appear in your bank account.

Cancellations after the first month

Beyond the first month, we do not offer refunds or partial refunds, except where required by law.

Members may cancel their subscription at any time through their member portal. Once cancelled, the annual subscription will not renew for another year and no further renewal payment will be charged.

Cancellation must be completed before your renewal date to avoid the next annual membership charge.

FAULTY PRODUCTS

In the unlikely event that a product is faulty, we are happy to provide a replacement free of charge.

The faulty product must be returned to Fishing Addiction HQ, at our cost, within the applicable 12-month warranty period.

Refunds for faulty products will be provided where applicable in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law. General wear and tear is not considered a product fault.

PACK DELIVERY

If a member pack is:

  • lost in transit; or

  • delivered to an incorrect address,

a replacement member pack may be issued where appropriate. A delivery issue does not, by itself, qualify the membership for a refund.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the postal address associated with their membership is accurate at the time of purchase and/or renewal.

Members can update their details through their member portal, by calling our office on 0478 371 000, or by emailing admin@fishingaddiction.com.au.

If a member pack is sent to an incorrect address because the customer provided incorrect or outdated address details, the issue of a replacement member pack will be at the discretion of Mark Berg’s Fishing Addiction.

Please note: Where a member cancels an eligible membership after their member pack has already been dispatched, the original shipping/postage cost of sending that pack is non-refundable, even where the returned member pack qualifies for a refund.

MEMBER REFUND POLICY – MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS

Minimum Subscription Period for Member Pack Eligibility

Monthly members become eligible to receive their member pack after completing the first 12 months of continuous subscription payments.

Following this, a new member pack is sent approximately every year around the anniversary of the membership, subject to continued eligibility.

First-Month Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee for the first month of a monthly subscription.

Because monthly member packs are not dispatched until after 12 months of continuous subscription payments, no member pack return is generally required for a first-month cancellation.

Cancelling a Monthly Membership

Monthly subscribers can cancel their subscription at any time through their member portal. Once cancelled, no further subscription payments will be charged, provided the cancellation is completed before the next scheduled payment date.

Where a member pack has already been dispatched in connection with a membership and a refund is otherwise approved, any shipping, postage or delivery charges already incurred in sending that pack are non-refundable.

FAULTY PRODUCTS – MONTHLY MEMBERS

Shipping/postage charges for a member pack that has already been dispatched are not refundable if the associated membership is subsequently cancelled and a refund is otherwise approved.

PACK CONTENTS AND DELAYS

While we endeavour to include all member pack contents shown in images on our website, substitutions may occasionally be necessary where an item is out of stock or unavailable.

Where a substitution is required, we will endeavour to provide an alternative item of equal or greater value.

Shipping delays may also occur due to supply or delivery issues outside our control.

Please contact us if you are concerned that your pack may have gone missing or if you are happy to accept a substitution so that your pack can be dispatched sooner.

MARK BERG’S FISHING ADDICTION MEMBER TRIP GIVEAWAY – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Promoter

The promoter is Julark Pty Ltd trading as Mark Berg’s Fishing Addiction, ABN 47 112 966 248, located at Unit 1/54-60 Industry Drive, Tweed Heads South NSW 2486 (“the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in a Fishing Trip of a Lifetime Giveaway, entrants must:

  • Be a current and financial Fishing Addiction (FA) member at the time of the draw. Both monthly and annual subscribers are eligible.

  • Be permanently residing in Australia.

  • Have completed and submitted the official nomination form, including the contact details of their nominated “surprise contact” – the person Mark Berg will contact first if the member is selected.

3. Entry Process

  • All eligible FA members are automatically entered into each applicable trip draw and have an equal chance of winning.

  • Eligible FA members who submit a valid nomination form will be recorded for the draw, and the winner will be selected at random using a randomiser tool at Fishing Addiction HQ.

  • The winner’s nominated surprise contact will be contacted directly by Mark Berg to:

    • establish and verify eligibility;

    • organise the surprise element; and

    • confirm trip details and timing.

4. Prize Details

  • Each prize consists of a fishing trip experience for the selected winner.

  • Trips may include different destinations and fishing activities, including Barramundi, reef or calm-water fishing, and may involve travel to remote locations.

  • Each trip’s draw date, duration, destination, inclusions and number of winners may vary depending on factors including weather, fishing seasons and production scheduling and will be determined by Mark Berg and the Fishing Addiction production team.

  • These trips are separate from other Fishing Addiction major giveaways and are conducted for the purpose of creating content for the Mark Berg’s Fishing Addiction TV show and digital platforms.

5. Media Consent

By participating in the giveaway, winners, their nominated surprise contact and participating family members agree to be filmed for the purposes of appearing in the Mark Berg’s Fishing Addiction TV show, including content broadcast or published on 7Mate, YouTube and other online platforms and social channels.

Participants must consent to their name, image, voice and likeness being recorded, used and shared publicly in connection with the program.

6. Travel & Risk Acknowledgement

Winners are responsible for obtaining their own appropriate travel insurance and ensuring they have adequate cover for risks associated with remote and/or offshore travel.

By participating in a trip, winners acknowledge the inherent risks associated with travel and fishing activities.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Australian law.

7. Disqualification and Verification

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and may disqualify an entrant who:

  • submits false or misleading information;

  • breaches these Terms and Conditions; or

  • acts in a manner that compromises the integrity or fairness of the draw.

8. Privacy

The Promoter collects personal information for the purposes of administering and promoting the giveaway and producing associated Fishing Addiction content.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Fishing Addiction Privacy Policy.

By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for these purposes, subject to applicable privacy laws.

9. General Conditions

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, postpone or amend the giveaway where reasonably necessary, including due to weather, travel restrictions, safety concerns, production requirements or other circumstances outside the Promoter's reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

Entry into the draw constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
